☔ Rain & Pecking Blocks
Agrivite poultry pecking/mineral blocks are dense and durable, so a bit of rain won’t instantly destroy them — they’re designed to withstand outdoor coop/run environments. 
•    However, heavy, prolonged rain may soften the block and speed up deterioration, especially at the surface. 
•    If too wet, the surface can get mushy and attract debris/insects, and can be less pleasant for the birds to peck.
🌦️ Best Practice
✔ Place the block under some shelter (e.g., eaves, covered run) if you can — this protects it from constant rain and helps it last longer. 
✔ Alternatively, put it on a raised board or stand so water drains away and it doesn’t sit in mud. 
✔ Some owners also hang pecking blocks so they stay off the ground and out of pooled water — that works well too.
