Instructions for use:Use 25ml per 5 litre of clean drinking water for a period of 3-5 days.
Unfortunately, mites are a given if the wild birds get into the coops or food, I use this regularly in the water just to give the chickens an extra boost.
I love this product and use it to give my girls a health boost when ever they need it…especially during their moult, super hot and wet and cold months too. I just add the recommended amount into my fermented grains once or twice a month and the girls and the boys stay super healthy.
Wow I love this product...some of my oldest girls that were struggling to recover from mites, heat stresses and not having a rest from laying are now fully moulted and regrowing their feathers. I also have a 9 year old hen who just started laying again. Their chook poo looks nice and healthy too, like an ice cream sundae. So all round I've had a great improvement in the overall health of the girls and the Roo who is also moulting at the moment. I ferment my own blend of grains, herbs and garlic for my chooks and I add this to their fermented grains so I know they are all getting a good dose as I have huge community water trough that the chooks and sheep drink out of so I didn't want to be adding the rescue remedy to the trough. I haven't hesitated in recommending this product to people, but it will take time to see the feathers etc starting to grow back....it also doesn't hurt to give a bit of extra protein to your girls in the form of a good quality dog roll, cooked fish heads and frames or any other cooked meat you need recycled...your girls will love you for it.
