Why choose a heating plate?
A heating plate is an excellent substitute for Mother Nature, where the hen keeps the chicks warm under her feathers. It is a very natural solution with a big advantage: the chicks will harden earlier and also the growth of their feathers will be quicker. Hereby the chicks will be healthier. The lifetime of a heating plate is approximately 10 years, and the chance of malfunctions is minimal.
The heating plate is made of plastic, mostly of ABS plastic. This material is durable and long lasting. The height of the legs can be easily adjusted by pushing the yellow clips. In the inner side of the heating plate, you will find the polyurethane insulation with a very high insulating factor. On this part the heating is mounted. Very low energy costs, a heating plate uses less energy than a heating lamp. These savings can reach up to 90% less than conventional heat lamps depending on the model. This way you can gain back the purchase price of the heating plate with several weeks, thus, a very good investment!
Also available are re-usable covers.
Heating plates can get very dirty from chicks jumping on top of them. The shape of the cover ensures that the chicks, when they try to jump on top of the heating plate, slip back down again. The cover is very easy to be placed and removed. Made of transparent plastic (PET) and VERY solid. After each use you can clean the cover by rinsing it with warm water to remove the dirt and dust.
WARRANTY We offer a full 12-month warranty on these heat plates.

It’s brilliant
Great.
Chicks seem to love it as well, and for us it’s so much easier then a heat lamp
Order arrived very quickly , very pleased with product.
Exactly what I was after! Works perfectly.
Great product. Chicks snuggle under happily, then love jumping on top. Second one bought - arrived just in time 🙂
cool
Love the product I brought and was very impressed with how quick it arrived too me.
Good quick delivery - goods as expected
Great support from the business. Much appreciated.
Chicks hatch in 2 weeks. Glad to have it ready to use
The best warming pad. No light interference and very safe.
Unfortunately it took exactly 6 working days to arrive, Christchurch to Rangiora! I ordered something from the Uk the same time it took 4 days. I would have driven in if I'd known as I had chicks hatching, was disappointing.
The tracking was poor. It went from Christchurch airport on Friday to being delivered on Tuesday with no advice in between
Great product and does the job
This is a great product. Easy to use and chicks loved it. Get the cover too.
Amazing product. Hatched 6 chickens out using the Brinsea echo 11 Great product children enjoyed watching the chickens hatch out. I think I would only hatch up to 5 chickens next time, but would highly recommend. Also purchased the 25 x25 heating plate for chicks, 13 watt, would also recommend this product. Both are ideal for home hatching.
Super easy set up and use! Pair it with the cover to ensure easy clean too!
