Chook Manor Feed-o-Matic Treadle feeder holds approximately 8kg of grain, mash or pellets respectively. Enough feed for 5 hens for approximately 10 days
The unique treadle operation of this feeder will ensure your poultry has all day access to their favourite tucker (but not sparrows and other wild birds).
• No risk of injury with the unique treadle system which allows your poultry to walk on to the ramp which activates an inwards opening trap door, giving free access to their feed.
• The operating system is almost silent, so unlike other treadle feeders, will not spook extra timid poultry.
• The feeder can be operated by all poultry big and small from the smallest of bantams to the largest of heavy breeds. The adjustable treadle allows for birds as little as 250 grams to open, if this is too light, then simply adjust to one of the 15 different settings.
• No feather damage to birds’ necks or breasts from reaching in to deep troughs, the feed dish is shallow, so perfect for all poultry and ducks.
• Built from robust heavy gauge galvanized steel is weather tight.

Prompt delivery. Easy to put together Got rid of the wild ducks woohoo but still not sure if all my girls have quite figured out the new gadget. They don’t look like they are starving
Easy to assemble and robustly made. I scanned the code to get the instructions, but it was only in Dutch. I found another version of the instructions online and it was very straightforward. So far the chooks are still transitioning to use it fully, but should be all using it tomorrow. Great that the sparrows and other tweety birds can’t get in to eat the chooks food. I might still have to watch for the hedgehogs helping themselves though.

Our 3 girls love their new feeder. They quickly learned how to use it and I no longer have to worry about them getting enough food if I’m not around for a few hours. They free range so can just go and help themselves whenever they feel like it.
Great feeder, my chickens are using it like pros after only a couple of days!

It was easy to put together. I haven't used it yet as I'm still working on the coop and cage.
I had a piece for the lid not right and chook manor sent me the right one within the week so I could get my feeder in use. I have 3 now. 2 for my chooks and one for my ducks. Love them. I also bought one for each of my sons whom both love them too.
Super easy assemble!! Chooks love it, only issue is that they also like to sit on top and poop off it, but the feeder inside remains clean as it is set back from the front edge only requiring a soapy clean down of the outside which is easy as well. Received in 22hours of ordering!!! Great service, highly recommended
Works well and ready to assemble. Took them an hour or so to work out what to do, but now they use it confidently. Much easy and more secure for the kids to put the food into.
