Thank you so much for the speedy delivery of our brooder pen! We had 11 healthy chicks arrive this week and are zooming about happily with plenty of space. Our dog (pictured) is thrilled we've gotten her an indoor birdie watching station 😆 And we feel very safe knowing the chicks are completely enclosed.
We bought 2 of these and love them. I have used quilting clips to put them together at their side openings. We only have 3 chicks, but this set up allows us to put in the heaters, feeders, water and perches to jump up on. It also allows them to run around like baby veloceraptors. The added benefit is that unlike our large home made bulky wooden ones is that, in a few weeks they can collapse up for easy storage. If I thought that I could join another on, I would. Totally awesome purchase.
Eggs are about to hatch so haven’t used it yet but I’ve set it up and it looks great, nice and roomy!
This pop up brooder is excellent. Our chicks are very happy with the extra space. Easy to set up and clean. Best of all it contains all the mess. Highly recommend
I love the idea, eggs are still incubating, so I can't tell yet how it is going to work, but I am sure it will work fine with thye heatpad in there.
We bought them because our hens and ducks are exposed to heavy weather, and they like to nest outside, not in coop. This is brilliant to be able to bring the nest inside sheltered area, to be able to use heating pad if the mother abandoned them. Easy and quick to set up, easy to clean with water proof bottom, and quick to try. Very roomy, brilliant mother and multiple babies ducks or chooks. Highly recommended.
