The first application seems to have sorted most of my mite infestation. Then I followed up with DE, and repeated the same treatment 6 days later. It looks under control now. I'll keep using this at a 3% ratio for regular coop cleaning to keep the mites at bay from now on.
I spray the hen coops, nesting boxes, perches and ladders every time we change the wood shavings, this most certainly keeps the mites under control. Great stuff have a weed sprayer especially for the job.
My order arrived promptly and I was impressed about how the products were wrapped with care and boxed up properly. The Smite concentrate is a great product for any chicken owner to keep their coop clean and mite free. The Aviverm worming liquid is best given orally to each chicken by using a clean plastic syringe because putting it in their water drinker is too hit and miss in my opinion. Giving the Aviverm orally to each chicken is the best way to get 100% success, and it's not hard to calculate how much to give each chicken.
We had a serious red mite infestation but using Smite and carefully following the instructions has done the trick. I will be keeping up with a regular programme of treating the henhouse with Smite in future

Great stuff, cleaning the hen houses out and spraying all the walls, perches and nest boxes, letting it dry then adding new wood shavings it gets rid of the blood sucking little devils, until the sparrows turn up and reinfect my girls again. Just the best, also have a small pump bottle handy so if I happen to see any when collecting the eggs, I give them a blast.

Noticed my coop had mites and sprayed this multiple times. Worked well!
Had red mites in the barn as the chooks were using this as there home. Had to spray everywhere so purchased a few of these and very very pleased with the results. Red mites all gone!! Will make sure we keep on top of this with a regular spray.

It took several (5) treatments, but the mites were 99.999 eradicated. Our chooks had refused to sleep in their night-coop but once treated they moved back in quite happily.
